Worries & Sea Glass

Collecting worries like the sea glass upon the shore it's smooth and colorful shape and texture always gleams a story, how it became the shiny armor it is now and how at one time it was a rough shard from some other life in some other time and some other place and now there it lays before us easy to touch, pickup and pocket until we can bring it to a safe place for safe keeping to look at and remember the exact day and time we found it and what story we told about it, the glass bottle with a letter inside that read of the love of a lifetime tossed out to sea in the care of hope's envy, the great shipwreck, the last of a treasure trove you now hold in your hands, worry like seaglass is meant to be thrown to the ocean to be tossed and turned and shaped and delivered upon the sand to be admired and acknowledged, respected and released . . .
