I heard your voice again in letters on a page on this first day of the new year, how incredibly warm your voice sounded, though I haven't heard it in years, still I remember the conversations like it was yesterday but it was a long time ago and your good wishes accompanied by your "much love" sign off brought me back to the days a younger man with aspirations and an older woman finding her way became friends and shared thoughts and feelings about their respective lives and giving each other advice and laughing at each others misgivings, and how we would regularly plan to one day meet yet knew better, knew it would never happen and it didn't even though we were then and are today parted by mere minutes so I too wish you well and thank you for all you've done for me by remembering me all these years especially today, peace and kisses V
