Today I walked endless hours in the sun wrote some songs in my head, sat by the shore on a bed of pebbles and lay in the sand making angels watching the wind blow ripples in the ocean blue and its reflection in the sky above, a long solid white beam crossed the horizon maybe the stairway to heaven or maybe a transport to earth, either way it gave me hope that my life had worth, that I would be ok at least for today, and so today I wade or walk or run and focus on all that I've got, that which embraces me hugs me, cups my face and kisses my brow the sun, the sky, the sand, the clouds, the silent giant that washes me clean by showing me all that is right on this planet we call Earth.
